Join us for food, fun, vendor shopping, face painting, raffles, and much more, all to benefit our local friend Julia and her daughter Lexi, in their pursuit of their dream of a “normal life”. Normal has many meanings, but for Julia, it’s to just be able to wake up each day without feeling ill, go to work to provide for herself and raise her daughter, and be able to pay for everyday necessities such as shelter, electric, and food. Julia fought the battle with cystic fibrosis from childhood, and two years ago was able to receive a double lung transplant! What a beautiful day! She has since gotten her own place, vehicle, and employment! She is currently facing her third round of rejection, and although she is a fighter, and hadn’t asked for any help, she needs just a little until she is well enough to return to work, and a normal daily routine. We are hoping you will all come out to support her, knowing that a percentage of sales will go to help pay the bills so she can recover without worrying too much. You can read more about Julia on her page New lungs, new life for Julia Allen, a link will be posted in the comments. Thank you all for taking time to read, and hope to see you there!
