Happy Monday! I hope it’s a great one for you! It looks like today will be the day we see the rain and storms scattered throughout the day and into the night. We’ll see a high in the upper 70’s and a low in the upper 60’s overnight. Things will clear up by Wednesday! #GoodThings to look forward to.

Kids♥Art (Art Supply Drive)
The Gloucester High School National Art Honor Society is collecting art supplies for Elementary Art teachers to give out to their students who have shown a significant interest in art.
The goal of Kids♥Art is to provide drawing materials for these children over their summer vacation, including crayons, markers, sketchbooks, pencils, colored pencils, pencil sharpeners, etc. This drive is taking place until May 15th. Supplies can be taken to the Welcome Desk at Gloucester High School or Gloucester Main Library Branch. For more information contact 693-2526.
May 11 – Vinyasa Yoga Class at Abingdon Elementary
Some of the benefits of yoga are improved posture, flexibility, balance & strength as well as calming of your mind & lessening of stress!
This class is for ages 16 & older. Whether you are new to yoga or experienced, Vinyasa Yoga is for everyone.
This class links body movement with breath & emphasizes strengthening the core.
Pose modifications & challenges are offered to fit the participant’s experience level.
Starting slowly with warm up stretches, the music takes you to a progressively higher energy level about midway into the class & concludes with a relaxation period.
Instructor: Nancy Sessoms.
$30/session or $6/individual class.
