Student Emerging Leaders Program
Gloucester Institute’s Emerging Leaders 2016: This exciting program strengthens students’ core writing, speaking and critical thinking skills. Emerging Leaders are engaged in unique learning and mentoring opportunities that correspond to their interests and foster personal development. Students gain valuable insight into corporate, public, political and non-profit worlds through exposure to new ideas, fascinating places and dynamic established leaders. AARP Tax Aide Program
Tax assistance will be offered at the Gloucester Library (Main Street Center) from 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Mondays beginning February 2nd through April 13th (except February 16 will be moved to February 17.) Assistance will also be offered on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on February 14, 21, 28 and March 14, 21, and April 4. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 804-654-1407 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Tax assistance will also be offered at Gloucester Point and Bethany Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 4;00 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning February 4 through April 15. No appointment necessary.

After three successful public archaeology events at New Quarter Park in York County, The Fairfield Foundation will be returning to the site in York County for another two-day public archaeology session.They will continue their archaeological survey of the New Quarter Park site on Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16.
