Hey, we’re going to clear out tonight just in time to get really cold by morning! Those low 20’s are chilly indeed!! Glad to have the woodburning stove going. 🙂 Tomorrow we’ll have the same temps as today for a high and a low, but lots of sunshine. That’s something #GoodToLookForwardTo!

Well, yesterday there was a last minute swing at The Coleman, that was announced, came and went all in just over an hour. This morning, as of right now…there are no scheduled openings for today. 🙂 But there are icy conditions, so take it easy.

Charlie Brown at the Museum!
Charlie Brown will be the featured theme this holiday season at the Gloucester Museum of History. According to the museum, an exhibit titled “The Ultimate Collection of Snoopy and Friends” is one for all ages. The collection, owned by Charlie Woerner of Gloucester, includes more than 180 Snoopy items and will be on display from Dec. 1 to Jan. 31, 2015. Admission is free. The museum is in the historic Botetourt Building at 6539 Main Street For information and tours, call 804-693-1234.

If you are fortunate enough to have a warm home, food in your pantry and refrigerator and family and friends to spend time with, you may want to share your bounty by : Making a donation to the GUEST winter shelter program or Bread for Life Food Pantry with non-perishable food.
- GUEST Winter Shelter: Make checks payable to Abingdon Episcopal Church with GUEST on memo line and mail to: P.O. Box 82, White Marsh, VA 23183
- Bread for Life Food Pantry: Non-perishable foods and household products may be dropped off at the pantry on Mondays & Fridays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. adjacent to the Church of St. Therese, 6262 Main Street.
- Salvation Army: Accepts donations at the Gloucester Center, 7065 Linda Circle in Hayes. Call 642-3960 for hours of operation.
