I had to replace my vacuum – again – and that isn’t a #GoodThingToDo. But my dreaded task turned out to be the highlight of my day! While driving through the parking lot of Walmart here in Gloucester, I looked over and saw a cat looking out the window of a vehicle while the owner was driving…exactly like a dog would do! I had to do a double check, just to be sure it wasn’t a small dog.
I was able to turn around and go back to meet Precious and her owner, Alvin Hill of Christ Church in Middlesex County. What a great meeting!
I learned that Precious is a therapy cat, and that Mr. Hill take her all over to meet folks, mostly the elderly, to brighten their day just a bit. I also learned that Precious is not Mr. Hill’s first therapy cat, and if you want to hear a #GoodStory, next time you see him with Precious, ask about Precious’ father! Also ask how they can serve folks in need of a smile and a visit!
